A New Season

As the snow melts
A snowdrop peeps through the sparkles.
The icicles drip onto the snowy, mossy ground,
Making a tiny waterfall, trickle down over the roots of the Oak.
Bluebells emerge from the frozen ground,
Ruffling, together in the light breeze.
The Daffodil – King of the flowers, this season
Is announced by trumpets.
Green leaves will soon come out
As the watery sun shines down on the wet dripping trees,
Winter is over, a new Season is here.
Spring has sprung.
