After several postponements, Gorran & Mevagissey Rainbows, Brownies and Guides were able to take part in a joint activity evening with Kellie Williams from Cornwall Cricket. Kellie is their Women & Girls’ Development Officer and she runs free sessions for units to help engage girls in this sport, to see if they like it. Kellie is a fully qualified coach and will happily complete the new External Visitors Agreement Form before meeting with your girls (for more information, follow this link Visitors to your meetings | Girlguiding).
Kellie provided a really engaging and enjoyable series of games for the girls to take part in. They ranged in age from 5 – 14 years and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was so lovely to see the girls running around and laughing in the sunshine, after the difficulties of the last 18 months.
