“We are still awaiting confirmation from the NYA and government on the final position of the Youth Sector in the English lockdown.
However, as an interim measure we are asking all units to pause indoor and outdoor face to face meetings from Thursday until we receive further information from the government tomorrow. This means that any face to face meetings on Thursday, Friday or the weekend should be cancelled. Please can we ask you to cascade that message in your country/region. The Girlguiding website will be updated this afternoon to reflect this.
We should have confirmation from NYA tomorrow and members will be informed via social media, the Girlguiding website and the Making Guiding Happen service email tomorrow evening – which will provide an update across all nations.”
